Vamar Vallarta Marina & Beach Resort, Puerto Vallarta

This was my husband’s and my first time to Mexico, and we had an incredible honeymoon experience at the hotel! The staff was exceptionally welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The pools were fantastic, and the food was mostly great, especially the tacos from the snack cafe. However, I was disappointed that the Italian restaurant was only open for a couple of days, and some of the other dining options did not meet our expectations.

Our stay was filled with ups and downs. While the staff was exceptionally attentive and went above and beyond for us, the room we were given was a huge letdown with maintenance issues and cleanliness problems. The dining options were quite limited and not very appealing, but we did enjoy the specialty restaurants when they were open. Facilities could use some improvement, as we faced various inconveniences during our visit.

I had a really nice stay at this resort overall. The location by the marina is fantastic for walking around and exploring nearby shops. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made my experience even better. The rooms were a bit dated, and the dining options, while decent, could use some improvement in variety. I did enjoy my time at the beach rather than the noisy marina pool area, which had very repetitive music. Overall, for the price, it's a solid choice but it could definitely use some tweaks.

We had a wonderful vacation at this resort with spectacular views, especially from our large balcony. The Italian restaurant was phenomenal, and the seafood spot on the beach was great too. However, there was no full-length mirror in the room, and a few areas of the hotel seemed a bit outdated. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a relaxing getaway, but some minor improvements could elevate the experience.

I had a great experience at Vamar, enjoying the beautiful pools and a fantastic dining experience at the Italian restaurant. The staff is incredibly hardworking, making my stay feel special. However, I faced some issues with internet access in my room and a few hiccups with room service. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a value getaway, but there are areas that could definitely improve.
